There’s something about that crackling of the batter in the waffle iron and the smell that fills the house as a result that makes waffles for breakfast such a wonderful treat. Combine that with sweet syrup dripping down the sides and you’re in breakfast heaven!

Power Crunch Blueberry Protein Waffles
Preheat a non-stick waffle iron lightly coated with Pam. Be sure to follow the directions for your waffle iron.
In a medium bowl, mix together all dry ingredients. Then add egg whites and water until batter is pancake consistency. Add extract and flavor. Lastly, fold in blueberries. Be careful not to bruise them.
Pour batter in iron using a rubber spatula. Close waffle iron to begin cooking and flip. When lights indicate waffle is ready, flip back over, open and remove waffle from iron to plate.
Have plain or top with sugar free syrup.
