Power Crunch Pina Colada Protein Smoothie

You don’t have to be sitting on a warm sandy beach or beside a backyard pool to enjoy the sweet taste of summer in the form of a Pina Colada Smoothie.  Unfortunately, no rum involved in this one, but here’s a perfect way to incorporate the feelings of summer vacation into your average everyday protein smoothie.  Combining the classic Pina Colada ingredients like pineapple and coconut in a rich tasty smoothie, you will have a hard time telling the difference between this protein packed drink and the real deal Jimmy Buffett is always singing about.  No getting caught in the rain here, enjoy this creative, tropical smoothie and drift away into a summer’s paradise state of mind.

Power Crunch Pina Colada Protein Smoothie

2 scoops Vanilla Créme Proto Whey
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 ¼ cup fresh pineapple chunks
½ cup coconut milk
6 ice cubes
Fat Free Redi-Whip
1 Tbsp. unsweetened shredded coconut
1 Maraschino Cherry

Combine the Vanilla Creme Proto Whey, coconut oil, 1 cup pineapple chunks, coconut milk and ice in a blender and blend until you reach desired consistency.  Pour in a glass and top it with a Touch of Redi-whip.  Split pineapple chunk or two and place on glass.  Sprinkle shredded coconut and top with cherry.
